Versa-Dek® 3.5 LS Acoustical (Roof)
Versa-Dek® LS Acoustical is a 3 ½” deep, acoustical dovetail shaped structural roof deck unit that provides a support surface for various types of roofing materials. It is used as a secondary structural member to provide for lateral force distribution to the structure’s vertical force resisting systems. Versa-Dek® 3.5LS Acoustical provides noise reduction coefficients (NRC) of .95. Versa-Dek® 3.5LS’s dovetail shape allows designers to create a wider (than standard Versa-Dek® LS Acoustical) lineal plank ceiling look for a clean aesthetic appearance. Versa-Dek® 3.5LS Acoustical in combination with a built up, insulated roof assembly achieves an STC rating of 46.

Versa-Dek® 3.5LS Acoustical is available in a twenty-four inch (24”) cover width. It is available in three (3) steel gage thicknesses (see load tables), a variety of galvanized coating weights and an array of paint systems all suited to specific project performance specifications.
Versa-Dek® 3.5LS Acoustical is FM approved.
