Versa-Dek® S Acoustical (Roof)
Versa-Dek® S Acoustical is a 2” deep, acoustical dovetail shaped structural roof deck unit that provides a support surface for various types of roofing materials. It is used as a secondary structural member to provide for lateral force distribution to the structure’s vertical force resisting systems. Versa-Dek® S Acoustical provides noise reduction coefficients (NRC) from .90 to 1.15. Versa-Dek® S’s dovetail shape allows designers to create a lineal plank ceiling look for a clean aesthetic appearance while achieving significant noise reduction properties.

Versa-Dek® S Acoustical is available in a twenty-four and one-half inch (24 ½”) cover width. It is available in four (4) steel gage thicknesses (see load tables), a variety of galvanized coating weights and an array of paint systems all suited to specific project performance specifications.
Oil Canning is a natural occurrence in metal panels and shall not be a cause for panel rejection. Minimization of oil canning can be achieved by adding a minor bead to Versa-Dek® S products.
Versa-Dek® S Acoustical is FM approved.
