Versa-Dek® Composite XLS (Floor)

Versa-Dek® XLS is a 2” deep dovetail shaped structural floor deck that is specially designed with a minor rib stiffener and embossments that allow for composite floor slab systems. The combined design of the stiffener and embossments allow the product to create exceptional composite action with the concrete thus producing a shear bond capable of additional span and load carrying capacity. Versa-Dek® XLS is UL fire rated for 1 to 3 hours, providing the thinnest slab depth requirement of any composite floor deck assembly. Versa-Dek®’s unique dovetail shape gives designers a readied surface for plaster for a final clean aesthetic appearance.

  • Versa-Dek® XLS is available in a twenty-four and one-half inch (24 ½”) cover width. It is available in four (4) steel gage thicknesses (see load tables), a variety of galvanized coating weights and an array of paint systems all suited to specific project performance specifications.
